About Me

Hi there! My name is Aliana Peru, and I'm a passionate volleyball player from San Antonio, Texas. I currently play as a Middle for Sotomayor HS JV and the SA Warriors club. Ever since I started playing volleyball in 2020, I've been captivated by the game. Over the past three years, my dedication and love for volleyball have only grown stronger.

Playing volleyball in college is a dream I am deeply committed to. I aspire to compete at the collegiate level while earning my degree in Psychology.

I bring a versatile skill set to the court, including a 9'1" jump touch. My focus is on perfecting my power, precision, and blocking abilities through rigorous physical and mental training.

My volleyball journey hasn't been without its obstacles. Just before the end of the 2023-2024 club season, I suffered a knee injury that required MPFL reconstruction surgery. This setback meant I was out for the remainder of the season and had to focus on my recovery. Despite this challenge, my love for volleyball has remained steadfast. I have been attending physical therapy several times a week and have a renewed focus on training to get back to the game I love.
